The UtilityMaintenance Supervisor (Argon/N₂ Generation Plant) is responsibleforthemaintenanceandrepairofgeneralbuildinginfrastructureandcritical gas generation systems throughout the manufacturing site. This includes physical structures (walls, flooring, ceilings), worker welfare areas, and Argon/Nitrogen (Ar/ N₂) generation equipment.
This position leads ateam of facility technicians to ensurethat the plant infrastructureis safe,functional,andwell-maintained,whilealsosupportingtheuptimeandperformance of the Ar/N₂ plant. The Supervisor coordinates internal and outsourced work activities, ensures compliance with safety and building regulations, and provides rapid response to facility-related issues
CORE RESPONSIBILITIES
The Main tasks of the Utilities Maintenance Supervisor (Gas/Chem) should include but not limited to the following:
FacilityInfrastructureMaintenance:
Overseemaintenanceandrepairofbuildingstructures,suchasfloors,walls, ceilings, doors, windows, roofing, and exterior finishes.
Manageupkeepofsharedfacilitiesincludingoffices,restrooms,changingrooms, break areas, and general utilities (lighting, drainage, ventilation).
Respondtobuilding-relatedissuesincludingleaks,structuraldamage,electrical fixture problems, and minor plumbing faults.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in Utility operations or compressed air system management within a manufacturing environment.
Prior supervisory or team lead experience is strongly preferred
TechnicalKnowledge:
Strong knowledge of general building maintenance (civil, electrical, minor plumbing).
Familiarity with Argon/Nitrogen generation principles and maintenance needs.
Ability to interpret technical drawings, facility layouts, and OEM manuals.
RelevantCertificate (Preferred):
OSHA 10/30, confined space, working at height, or general building maintenance certifications.
Competencies:
Ability to coordinate across diverse maintenance areas.
Strong organizational and time-management skills.
Excellent communication and contractor management abilities.
