Description
Q CELLS Home Energy Solutions seeks a Manager of Rebates and Interconnection to manage and control projects through administrative and specialized expertise with the Home Energy System division. As Manager of Rebates and Interconnection, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the Interconnection and Rebates function and all other related activities at this stage including utility applications, rebate reservations, and SREC/VPP enrollment. Major responsibilities include submission interconnection applications to utilities to obtain permission to operate (PTO), managing the performance of internal employee specialists and vendors, conducting business reviews with vendors, negotiating pricing and contracts with vendors, streamlining processes for all aspects of rebates and interconnection process to ensure best in class cycle times and building out and leading team of rebates/interconnection specialists.
This is a key position with the responsibility for building and scaling the solar support operations to match the growth of the business. The ideal candidate is an experienced professional with strong analytical skills, great attention to detail, and problem solving and communication skills. This position will be based out of one of our offices in Irvine, CA or San Francisco, CA with a potential in-office schedule set at the direct manager’s discretion in accordance with the company policies and procedures. Remote work may be considered for exceptional cases.
