POSITION DESCRIPTION:
The Senior HR Coordinator will coordinate and facilitate a wide range of HR functions and responsibilities, such as payroll and taxes, benefits, visa/immigration, HRIS, and others. This role will assist with guiding local and expatriate employees through various human resources processes and answering any questions. This position requires being on-site in Irvine, CA, and working hours are Monday through Friday, from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. or from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Coordinate all immigration/visa-related processes in partnership with outside immigration law office
- Provide HR support to expatriate employees including onboarding, offboarding, payroll, tax filing, benefits and more in conjunction with HR Ops team.
- Provide HR administrative support to global executives
- Support the HR Operation team on any HR initiatives and administrative support.
- Maintain and update employee records, including personnel actions, in internal folders and the HRIS system, ensuring accurate reflection in headcount reports, organizational charts, profiles, etc.
- Ensure compliance with global, federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, as well as recommended best practices.
- Assist the Manager and HR Operations in implementing new policies and procedures and communicate updates.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in Human Resources, preferably in a coordination or support role in Human Resources or Business Administration.
- Basic knowledge of HR best practices, policies, and applicable laws and regulations.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and HRIS systems.
- A genuine interest in employee well-being and a passion for helping others.
- Korean bilingual is required.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- PHR or other HR certification.
- Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and meet deadlines.
- Problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- A naturally collaborative and adaptive work style.

The salary range is required by the California Pay Transparency Act and may differ depending on the location of those candidates hired nationwide. Actual compensation is influenced by a wide array of factors including but not limited to, skill set, education, licenses and certifications, essential job duties and requirements, and the necessary experience relative to the job’s minimum qualifications.
