Classification: Hourly

 

SUMMARY
The Human Resources Information System (HRIS) Administrator will support and maintain the organizations HRIS applications and modules.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Oversees and maintains optimal function of organization's HRIS, which may include installation, customization, development, maintenance, and upgrade to applications, systems, and modules.
  • Provides technical support, troubleshooting, and guidance to HRIS users.
  • Owns the development and maintenance of training materials.
  • Responsible for delivering training to HRIS users.
  • Collaborates with executive leadership and HR staff to identify system improvements and enhancements; recommends and implements solutions.
  • Manages permissions, access, personalization, and similar system operations and settings for HRIS users.
  • Programs custom functions and documentation such as automated queries, filters, macros, and reports.
  • Compiles or assists with the acquisition of complex data reports, summaries, and logs for senior executives and HR staff.
  • Serves as lead representative and liaison between HR, information services, external vendors, and other stakeholders for HRIS design and implementation projects.
  • Ensures system compliance with data security and privacy requirements.
  • Maintains knowledge of trends and developments in HRIS providers, vendors, and technology.
  • Performs other duties as required.

 

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Previous experience in Workday, ADP and Jobvite
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Knowledge of HRIS business process configurations
  • Ability to build and modify custom HCM reports and calculated fields
  • Knowledge of creating, loading, and troubleshooting EIBs
  • Familiarity with Human Resources policies and procedures to ensure the HRIS meets organizational needs and goals
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software
  • Thorough understanding of all areas of information systems
  • Appropriately handles sensitive matters and maintains confidentiality
  • Works well in a demanding and fast-paced environment, both independently as well as effectively within a team
  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or related field required

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Able to stand and walk the production area throughout the workday
  • Reaching, pushing, pulling, or lifting as required within limits set by Hanwha Q CELLS USA, Inc.
  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer

 

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or related field required
  • At least 5 years of related experience required.
