HUMAN RESOURCE GENERALIST (Part-time)

SUMMARY

The Human Resources Generalist will provide support and is responsible for the day-to-day management of HR operations. This position reports to the Director of HR Strategy, or another senior management personnel that the CEO of the Company may designate. This position is hybrid located in Irvine, CA or Teaneck, NJ working hours are Monday through Friday, approximately 4 hours a day, local time. Will need to attend monthly meetings at the nearest office either Irvine, CA or Teaneck, NJ once a month. This position is expected to travel up to 10%.

 

 

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTION & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Data Analysis and Reporting
    • Utilize HR metrics and analytics to inform decision-making and drive strategic initiatives;
    • Prepare and present reports on HR activities, compliance, and key performance indicators to senior leadership;
    • Identify trends and recommend proactive measures to address potential HR issues;
    • Complete status changes;
    • Reconcile expenses;
  • HR Operations
    • Assist the HR Operations team with the day-to-day HR operations;
    • Support HRIS team in the Workday and ADP implementations (system testing, data inputs, and data migration reconciliation).
    • Support the effective integration and administration of HR processes, programs, and practices into daily operations;
    • Create and ensure that HR files and records are maintained in accordance with legal requirements and Company policies and procedures;
    • Process verification of employment requests, state-specific claim forms and unemployment insurance claims;
    • Effectively communicate to employees on various HR matters

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • A Minimum of two (2) years relevant professional experience in human resources
  • Advanced reporting skills using Microsoft Excel (this includes experience with advance functions such as index functions and VLOOKUP or the ability to leverage APIs within Python

 

 

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Proficiency using software programs such as HRIS
  • Proficient knowledge of HR-related state and federal regulations
  • Proficient knowledge of HR operations and administration

  • Climb: occasionally ascends/descends on stairway to get to office upper and lower floors
  • Travel: up to 10% as needed

SALARY RANGE FOR POSITION

The anticipated starting pay range of this position, which is to be located in either Teaneck, NJ or Irvine, CA. The pay is only displayed for Irvine, CA is $38 - $50 per hour

The above-listed salary range is required by the California Pay Transparency Act and may differ depending on the location of those candidates hired nationwide. The salary range shared in the job description is for the listed position and only pertains to the candidate if they work in Irvine, CA. Actual compensation is influenced by a wide array of factors including but not limited to internal pay equity, skill set, education, licenses and certifications, geographic location, essential job duties and requirements, and the necessary experience relative to the job’s minimum qualifications. An additional discretionary bonus structure or incentives may be offered as part of the overall compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, dental, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
