SUMMARY
The Equipment Engineer at the new QCELLS plant in Cartersville, GA will be responsible for maintaining and managing ingot equipment. This includes improvements for processing machines. The Equipment Engineer will be a vital member of the Maintenance & Development team and will work closely with other departments to ensure smooth facility operations.
 
RESPONSIBLITIES
  • Responsible for tasks related to equipment maintenance 
  • Implement improvement projects to improve facility productivity and yield
  • Installation of new equipment and management of related installation companies
  • Maintenance and improvement work to achieve production facility KPI goals
  • Cost reduction and productivity improvement through equipment parts management and modification/improvement
  • Facility maintenance work procedures and safety work procedures must be established and documented
  • Ingot equipment, automated line process development, layout and utility review 
  • Perform other related duties as assigned
 
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS 
  • Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or related engineering fields 
  • 3~7 years of mechanism design experience
  • Possess 2D, 3D design technology (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, etc.)
  • Experienced in manufacturing production equipment maintenance and automation equipment related fields
  • Experience in metal and non-ferrous metal processing technology
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, Power Point) 
 
 
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS 
  • Experience in the semiconductor or photovoltaic industry
  • Mechanical, air conditioning, water treatment, boiler license holder
  • Bilingual in Chinese or Korean preferred
