SUMMARY
 
The PV Module Recycle Sales & Marketing Specialist will provide support and is responsible for developing and securing the collection network for used and wasted solar modules within the PV module sales value chain. In addition, the role will oversee the logistics setup, ensuring efficient collection, transportation, and delivery of end-of-life panels to Qcells recycling facilities or partners. This position reports to the VP of PV Recycle Business or another senior management personnel that the President of the Company may designate. This position is hybrid-based and will report to both the Cartersville, GA office and Seoul, South Korea office. Working hours are Monday through Friday, from 8:00am to 5:00pm or 9:00am to 6:00pm. This position may be required to travel up to 10% of the time.
 
 
Essential Job Function & Responsibilities 
  • Develop and Implement Collection Network Strategy 
    • Design and execute a comprehensive strategy for securing the collection network of used and wasted PV modules, targeting stakeholders across the entire PV value chain (e.g., utility companies, EPCs, installers, and O&M service providers). 
    • Identify and build relationships with key players in the utility segment, including solar project developers, asset owners, asset management, and O&Ms to establish strong collection network. 
    • Work with Qcells' sales and fulfillment teams to integrate recycling and collection services into the existing product offerings, ensuring the recycling option to be a part of the module sale process. 
  • Establish and Manage Partnerships 
    • Develop and maintain strategic partnerships with external logistics providers and recycling partners to create an efficient and scalable recycling logistics network. 
    • Negotiate and finalize agreements with partners to ensure reliable and cost-effective transportation, collection, and processing services for end-of-life modules. 
    • Collaborate with environmental agencies and regulatory, and industry associations (e.g., SEIA, EPA) to align Qcells’ recycling operations with legal and sustainability standards, maximizing program reach. 
  • Lead Sales & Marketing Initiatives 
    • Develop and implement targeted marketing to promote Qcells’ recycling services, emphasizing the benefits of recycling to relevant entities in the whole PV sector. 
    • Generate sales leads and opportunities by educating stakeholders about the environmental and economic advantages of the PV recycling program with commitment to sustainability. 
    • Achieve sales targets by securing long-term contracts with utility companies and large-scale project owners for recycling and waste management services. 
  • Logistics Setup and Management 
    • Oversee the logistics setup for the collection and transportation of used modules, ensuring that the process is efficient, cost-effective, and aligned with sustainability goals. 
    • Coordinate with logistics and operations teams to develop and maintain a nationwide network for collection points, ensuring easy access for partners across various states and regions. 
    • Monitor and optimize logistics routes, reducing transportation costs and emissions while maximizing the efficiency and effectiveness of the recycling process. 
  • Market Research and Reporting 
    • Conduct market research to identify trends, opportunities, and challenges in the PV recycling industry 
    • Analyze the competitive landscape and provide recommendations for business growth, new partnerships, and service expansion. 
    • Regularly report on the performance of the collection and recycling network, tracking key metrics such as collection volume, cost, and partnership growth rates.

Required Qualifications 
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Environmental Science, or a related field.  
  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in sales, marketing, or business development, preferably within the renewable energy, or recycling industry
  • Proven track record in building and managing partnerships (better if it is with utility companies and large-scale project developers)
  • Experience in logistics management and the ability to optimize supply chain efficiency
  • Strong understanding of the PV industry, particularly the utility-scale segment, and its value chain
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build and maintain strategic partnerships
  • Strong proficiency using software programs such as MS Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
  • Advanced reporting skills using relevant software programs
