FACILITY SUPERVISOR

Reports to: Equipment/Facility Manager

Location: Dalton, GA

Classification: Hourly

SUMMARY


The Facility Supervisor is responsible for the preventive maintenance on equipment used in manufacturing process to ensure the successful execution of production activities all in accordance with the high industry standards while within manufacturing timescales. This is a hands-on role with technical operation duties that range from managing personnel and processes to troubleshooting and repairing equipment. You will lead team members engaged in facilities operations and ensure a safe working environment and productivity among your team.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead the facility technicians during day-to-day operations.
  • Manage techs attendance, vacations and organize shift coverage as needed.
  • Manage outside vendors and contractors that visit for onsite repairs, preventative maintenance.
  • Manage facility PM schedules/files for day-to-day operations and reporting
  • Manage spare parts inventory and do monthly and annual inventory reports/logging
  • Manage tasks on broken machine parts and identify defective parts or give recommendations to techs on repair requirements.
  • Adhere to the policies and procedures of Hanwha Q CELLS.
  • Perform other duties and special projects, as assigned by management.
  • Have expert knowledge of electrical components and motor control.
  • Have expert knowledge of HVAC and VRV systems.
  • Application of adhesives, lubricants or other materials to machines or their parts as well as other equipment in accordance with stated procedures.
  • Work closely with Engineers to Improve/implement new ideas for future facility plans

 

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • +5 years of cognitive and vocational experience in handling machine and machine parts
  • +5 Years Master knowledge of mechanical maintenance and electrical process
  • Critical thinking ability to troubleshoot and detect malfunctioning
  • Discipline to execute tasks without procrastination
  • Excellent time management skills and execute all orders and/or demands in a timely manner
  • Ability to handle basic tools
  • Manage the BMS System, Dock Door/Leveler Maintenance, Dust Collector Maintenance, Exhaust Fan maintenance, Humidifiers and Highspeed Doors.
  • Cooling Towers, Chillers, Air Dryers, Air Compressors
  • Air Compressor/Dryer Management System
  • Fire Alarm System, Electrical Room System Management
  • Strong knowledge of safety precautions
  • Ability to illustrate expert maintenance requisite and procedures for operation on various pumps including reciprocating, centrifugal, vane, and etc.
  • Able to tolerate a fast-paced work environment in areas that are not climate controlled
  • Assertive, able to cope with pressure, a team player
