FQC Technician

Reports to: Line Supervisor

Location: Dalton, GA

Schedule: Swing Shift (12 hours)

Night: 6:00 PM - 6:30 AM

 

SUMMARY

The FQC Technician maintains high quality standards by reviewing final assembly products before delivering to our customer. The FQC Technician works as an in-line quality inspector to ensure top tier products by verifying all quality aspects of the module.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Confirms product compliance to established quality standards by conducting visual tests.
  • Rejecting products that fail to meet establish quality standards.
  • Ensure line maintains productivity levels needed to meet production demands.
  • Documents inspection results for final product grading.
  • Report any issues requiring a Quality Technician to the line supervisor.
  • Produce products that meet quality standards with minimal defects.
  • Monitor standard equipment settings and escalate deviations for adjustment.
  • Help other operators during breaktimes and flexibility to cover other work areas.
  • Ability to follow standardized work and not deviate from SOP and work instructions.
  • Adhere to the policies and procedures of Hanwha Q CELLS.
  • Perform other duties and special projects, as assigned by management.

 

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Basic computer skills (specifically Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint).
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Basic knowledge of manufacturing process
  • Able to cope with pressure and be a team player
  • Able to work irregular or extended hours, including weekends and nights as needed
  • Must be detail oriented and able to analyze information on computer monitor for 12 hours
