POSITION DESCRIPTION:

Q CELLS Home Energy Solutions seeks an experienced solar operations professional to lead a team to monitor and control projects through administrative and specialized expertise with the Home Energy System division. As the Sr. Manager of Inspections, you will be responsible for leading operations support teams in coordination with the Customer Operations Manager and Sales Managers. Major responsibilities include defining SOP’s at the Inspection milestone, building and supporting best in class communication guidelines and working with peers to ensure that the turnaround times are second to none. This is a key leadership position with the responsibility for building and scaling the solar support operations to match the growth of the business. The ideal candidate is an experienced professional with strong analytical skills, great with people and better at identifying opportunities in business processes, and leadership skills. Experience in solar operations is a must. This position will be based in the Q CELLS North America headquarters in Irvine, CA, although remote options may also be available.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Build and Develop a high-performing team of solar obsessed professionals that will do anything they can to support the goal of helping our customers go solar
  • Collaborate with other key team members to set long-term operating strategy and vision
  • Develop a standard operating procedure suite for City/County inspections and other related activities to pass final inspections
  • Responsible for taking a project from installation complete to completed final inspection and financier submittal
  • Develop KPIs and corresponding reports to track partner performance at the Inspection stage
  • Improve cycle time from installation complete to inspection complete
  • Identifies and implements opportunities for continuous improvement
  • Review operational procedures and ensure conformance to industry best-practices
  • Analyze and monitor team performance to iteratively improve upon cycle times
  • Be a key strategic stakeholder in the development of new product rollouts.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
 

  • 5+ years’ experience in solar operations management and analytics
  • Impeccable attention to detail
  • Ability to exercise strong organizational, problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Excellent leadership, team development, people management and influencing skills at a senior level
  • Detailed analytical thinker with ability to recruit and lead quantitative talent
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills with the ability to present credit management, vision and strategy in internal and external forums
  • Entrepreneurial mindset and demonstrated ability to thrive in a high-growth environment
  • Process driven while finding long-term solutions
  • Ability to translate business strategy into day to day delivery

The salary range is required by the California Pay Transparency Act and may differ depending on the location of those candidates hired nationwide. Actual compensation is influenced by a wide array of factors including but not limited to, skill set, education, licenses and certifications, essential job duties and requirements, and the necessary experience relative to the job’s minimum qualifications.
