Please note this role is in Cartersville, GA, 5 days a week onsite. Relocation is available as needed.
Role Summary:
The Trade and Customs Compliance Manager will be responsible for developing corporate processes and procedures and ensuring Qcells compliance with customs and trade laws and internal procedures.
Role Responsibilities:
·   Develop and implement internal compliance procedures and policies and ensure adherence.
·   Oversee Qcells compliance with customs and trade laws, regulations, and internal policies.
·   Stays abreast of legal and corporate requirements in customs, trade, etc.
·   Acts as a contact person and liaison and manages information flow between outside counsel, Dalton staff, and management.
·   Report Qcells compliance with customs and trade laws and regulations to management.
·   Train and educate staff and stakeholders regarding legal and corporate requirements and updates.
·  Trade: Develop customs compliance procedures and ensure compliance
· Manage and communicate with Customs brokers. Ensure adherence with Broker SOPs
 · Maintain tariff classification database
 · Assist with value and origin assessments
· Conduct post-entry audits of Customs entries
 · Manage retention of import records
· Liaise with Qcells legal and management teams
·  Understand internal ERP systems.
·   Audit compliance with policies and laws.
Education and Expertise:
·     Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, supply chain, or other relevant area
·     8-10 years of compliance or risk management experience in customs and trade law
·     Subject matter expert in Global Trade Compliance, Customs Broker License preferred
