SUMMARY
The Security Operations Specialist position is responsible for the overall physical security operation of Qcells Cartersville Factory. This position is also responsible for managing, overseeing, administrating, and outsourcing security services.
 
RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Responsible for the day-to-day facility security and systems security by implementing, communicating, and monitoring the factory security operations.
  • Provide Daily & Weekly reports and recommendations to management regarding projects related to business facilities and security processes.
  • Responsible for security equipment improvements and changes, modification projects, and timely execution.  Managing all CCTV: add, angle changes, camera modifications, and perform all other related tasks.
  • Managing all visitors' and truck trailers' incoming logs, distributing, and informing updated security protocol and procedures.
  • Responsible for managing security service providers, managing service invoice processes, and taking the lead role in resolving any security-related issues within facilities.
  • Effectively communicate internal and external security procedures and compliance to employees and contractors.
  • Enforce security protocol and develop security standard procedures.
  • Developing network with local government police departments.
  • Prepare weekly security operation reports to management, such as weekly incidents and concerns, and report any suspicious activity.
  • Build strong relationships with local government legal departments.
  • Supports other inter-department functions as needed.
  • Develop internal security protocol and communicate with all leaders and team members.
 
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Associated degree or bachelor’s degree required. (Law Enforcement security management, criminal justice, or a related discipline is often preferred).
  • 1 to 3 years of prior experience in safety/security experience required.
  • Knowledge and experience using CCTV systems, CCTV installation projects, and physical security protocols.
  • Strong Microsoft skills: PowerPoint, Excel, Word.
  • Excellent logical and analytical abilities.
  • Strong organization aptitude and attention to detail, and demonstrated reliability with excellent time-management skills.
  • Works well under the pressure of deadlines.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
