POSITION DESCRIPTION:
You will lead a team of software program managers and partner with software engineers and leaders to continuously define and manage the requirements, scope and delivery of QCell’s software systems and services. This includes daily management of deliverables, dependencies, and schedules, and driving these complex projects through all phases from ideation through end-of-life. You will collaborate with QCells’ software development leadership team and business stakeholders at all levels to establish processes that track our goals, objectives, milestones, progress, and risks, and drive organizational alignment on trade-offs and priorities. You will own coordination across the entire organization to facilitate software product and service launches, as well as iterative feature delivery. You will lead a software lifecycle management program to improve resource utilization, quality, and time to market for our software products and associated services.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead and develop a world-class software program management team that will develop and lead a portfolio of program plans, timelines, and budgets, and ensure that all software programs are delivered on time and within budget.
- Drive improvements in the Agile software development process and program management tools used to effectively manage a diverse global portfolio of software programs.
- Collaborate across geographies to influence key partners on program scope/vision, solutions, budget, and schedule; set up and implement program governance.
- Manage program risks, issues, and dependencies, and develop mitigation plans to minimize impact on program timelines and budgets.
- Communicate program status, risks, and issues to stakeholders, including senior management, and ensure that all stakeholders are informed and aligned throughout the program lifecycle.
- Must be adaptable to work in a fast-paced, dynamic Agile software development environment with changing priorities, and have a positive attitude towards collaboration, teamwork, and continuous learning.

- Leverage data insights to propose program execution strategy, identify the root cause of delays, and measure results.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- A Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Industrial, Biomedical, or Systems Engineering or a related engineering field. A master’s degree in business administration or engineering is preferred.
- 10+ years of software program management experience; including experience with Agile software development and 5+ years in management positions leading program management teams.
- Proven track record leading delivery of large complex software development programs, bringing together technology, process, and people.
- Solid understanding of core computer science fundamentals including optimization, distributed computing, and cloud-based SaaS.
- Demonstrated expertise in Agile software lifecycle management with a comprehensive grasp of development stages, deployment, maintenance, and updates for optimal product evolution.
- Expertise in defining Agile software development processes and leading and driving change and collaboration globally in cross-functional teams.
- Strong time management, facilitation, organizational skills, work ethic, and personal integrity.
- Excellent interpersonal and influence management skills including evidence of managing multi-disciplinary teams.
- Strong attention to detail, follow-through skills, and experience to check behind the scenes to ensure surprises are minimized.
- Excellent written and oral communication in English.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- One of either PMP, ACP, and/or SCRUM Master certification.
- Experience with and passion for working in the renewable energy sector.
- Software development experience.
- Ability to communicate complex information/situations in a clear and concise manner to all levels and to translate technical details into non-technical terms.
- Fast learner with the ability to work through ambiguity who thrives in fast-paced and multifaceted environments and is able to deliver within defined timeframes.
- High Emotional Intelligence (EQ) specifically being a great active listener and communicator, who can convey complex ideas in a clear, concise manner both verbally and in writing to various levels of leadership.
